Milca has a degree in Early Childhood Education from the Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón del Perú. She has served faithfully in various callings in the Church, as Stake Primary President, facilitator and currently assistant of the self-sufficiency group, being a teacher of the course ‘Education for better employment and self-sufficiency’.
Her professional experience has allowed her to hold positions as a classroom tutor and English teacher in schools with high academic standards, consolidating a pedagogical mastery and a vocation for inclusive and personalised teaching.
In order to obtain her degree, she presented her thesis ‘Interculturality - A pedagogical perspective focused on early education classrooms’, with the aim of guaranteeing quality education from an inclusive perspective. She has complemented her training with courses in language, neuroeducation and intervention strategies, which strengthens her profile as a future speech therapist.
Milca's goal is to contribute to the improvement of the national education system by taking up a position in the Vice-Ministerial Office of Pedagogical Management of the Peruvian Ministry of Education, from where she can promote inclusive and quality policies. She also aspires to complement her professional development by teaching at a university, training future teachers and specialists committed to transformative education.
