Pierina holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. With a professional background consistently focused on continuous improvement to provide superior care, she recognized that an MBA would help her secure managerial positions, enabling her to more effectively oversee the care delivered to patients.
During her tenure coordinating the Neonatology Service at HNSLM Paita, Pierina—working alongside a multidisciplinary team—successfully established the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), thereby enhancing the quality and capacity of the services provided to newborns.
Throughout her professional career, Pierina has completed various advanced courses—including Neonatal CPR and mechanical ventilation for neonates—and holds a specialization in Neonatal Intensive Care. She also serves as a professional guide and counselor in lactation support.
Upon completing her MBA, Pierina aims to assume a managerial role, open her own private nursing practice, and teach at a university.
She has served faithfully in the Church as a counselor in her ward's Primary organization, a Stake Seminary supervisor, and a Sunday School teacher for Young Single Adults (YSA) and Young Women—a calling she currently holds.
