Giovanna Cisneros

University: Universidad Nacional de San Marcos  (UNMSM)

Major: Master's in Administration with a Specialization in Human Resources Management

City: Lima

Giovanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and is a licensed member of the College of Public Accountants of Lima. In her professional career, she has successfully built a wealth of experience across various organizations, both public and private. Her consistent analytical approach—specifically in her work consolidating financial statements across all departments—has allowed her to gain deep insight into the unique realities of each area, all while never losing sight of the heart of every institution: its human talent.

As part of her professional development, she found it necessary to specialize and delve deeper into this specific field, as the demands of her work required it. She dedicated herself to rigorous training—completing diplomas and related courses—to effectively resolve complex situations, ultimately leading her to establish a Human Resources department and efficiently achieve its strategic objectives.

Currently, she works at a public institution as a member of the Remuneration and Personnel Movement Team within the Human Resources Unit. Her organization is slated to be absorbed by a new entity (SUNIR); to secure a permanent, stable position—and to position herself for a future promotion—she needs to complete this Master's degree, which will enable her to stand out in her field and solidify her professional standing.

Giovanna is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, belonging to the Huandoy Ward of the Naranjal Stake. As a convert of nearly two years, she has received two wonderful callings within the Young Women organization; she currently serves as the First Counselor in the Young Women presidency. This service has brought her a profound sense of fulfillment through her interactions with the young women, as it allows her to vicariously experience the developmental stages she herself had to bypass at a very early age, having become a mother at just 17. She feels happy and proud that our Beloved Father touched her heart, allowing her to join His Church and be embraced as one of His own. Giovanna harbors a fervent desire to give back to the Father for every miracle and blessing He has bestowed upon her life by serving as a missionary. She plans to embark on a mission to preach the Lord's work in five years—a promise she holds sacred in her heart for our Beloved Heavenly Father.
