From a young age, Luis demonstrated an interest in construction, creating structures using simple materials—an activity that sparked his curiosity regarding balance and functionality. He chose Civil Engineering driven by a desire to design useful spaces that benefit the community. He identifies strongly with his ability to build—constructing not only projects but also his own future—and stands out for his creativity, leadership, proactivity, critical thinking, and collegiality. He has performed test pit excavations and prepared concrete test specimens, in addition to serving as a student representative.

He has served as a missionary (2021–2023), seminary teacher, executive secretary, and temple worker.

He aspires to lead his own road construction firm, integrating professional excellence with his faith.
