From a young age, Susan did not grow up knowing exactly what she wanted to be. Over time and through many experiences, a deep desire to make a meaningful impact on people's lives was born in her. She discovered that behind every smile there is a story, and that often a genuine smile can give back much more than just good health. That admiration grew until it became a clear conviction of what she really wanted, wants, and strives to achieve. She knows that working twice as hard as necessary to be capable enough is necessary to care for others, bring back smiles, and fulfil her long-held dream.
What most identifies her with this career is her sensitivity in connecting with people. Accompanying them in their restoration process fills her with joy, not only for having made it possible but also for demonstrating what she has learned in each procedure. One of her strengths is her consistency and perseverance in every situation in her life. She rarely gives up easily and always seeks to improve, both professionally and personally.
In her journey within the Church, she has the privilege of serving as a YSA leader in her ward. This calling has taught her to listen, be patient, and guide each young person with empathy. She understands that being different is not a problem; it is another blessing from our Heavenly Father.
Her vision for the future goes beyond running a dental clinic. She sees herself working as a dental surgeon in a centre where access is limited, with the aim of building bridges between knowledge and the people who need it most.
